    You can reach Erbil with a direct flight from many airports around the world. From Turkey you can also reach the city by long-distance coach, but bear in mind that it is a long and tiring journey. Flying from Istanbul, you reach Erbil International Airport in approximately two hours, and from there you can reach the city centre with public transport. For those who don’t want to take a bus, taxis are another alternative. Hotel transfer services are also available if you arrange this with your hotel in advance.
